Texas,

Stop being such a nit and call. You are ahead of his range and there is dead money. Here at 2p2 we don't pass up edges. Nothing wrong with flipping when you have the best of it. You gotta win flips to win tournaments.

Steve

PS - Isn't this pretty much the same as your bust out hand from the final table at TStone?... That is, after his put on his charade you knew that he did not have a pocket pair and therefore had to correctly call off your chips on a flip with an edge... I guess you just used up all of your luck winning 2 jackpots in one week.

Why call in this position? The best you can be is 55/45 unless he has 22 or 33. And you could be a big dog if he has an overpair. I would wait for a better time to risk half my stack.

The reason why I call is because by folding, were losing money when we likely have the edge. We have 1500 invested in the BB and the antes to add in as well. If it was 1:1 on our money, I'd say fold, even though were likely ahead, its better to wait.

Also, don't forget were well ahead of A2-A4.

im not putting 50% of my stack in CALLING W 44 when i have no pot investment and could easily be a 4 to 1 dog without fold equity this hand just isnt good enough.

To everyone advocating folding here:

That is so rediculously weak-tight it is almost funny.
