i haven't done the calculations, but i think you have a 50% chance of losing 9 coinflips in a row.

You are wrong.

A coinflip is a 50/50 situation, therefore we will describe a win as 1/2 and loss as 1/2).

p(win) = 1/2
p(lose) = 1/2

So if you hvae 9ps, you do:

1/2 + 1/2 + 1/2 + ... + 1/2 = 9*1/2 = 9/2 = 4.5.

You therefore have a 4.5% chance of losing 9 coinflips in a row. So that's about once in twenty. One in twenty times. Get over yourself, loser. If you play just tweny MTTs, for example, you're pretty much stastically guaranteed to win 9 coinflips in a row in one of them.

So what you're experiencing isn't really uncommon.

wtf ^^^^

its (1/2)*(1/2)*(1/2)*(1/2)*(1/2)*(1/2)*(1/2)*(1/2)*(1/2)
or (1/2)^9 which is (1/512)

I once lost 18 in a row, would of loved for it to stop at 9. So while it doesn't happen all the time, its not that uncommon.

OP,

QQ v AKo run 100 times...four different times...

Two out of the four times you think you're a donut, one time you know you're invincible and one time you think you can make a living playing QQ v AK but you're not sure.

Pretty much explains the existing of BBV, the WPT, EmpireMaker2, etc.

Because I just did. Played 12 sngs at the same time, lost all 12. lost the the other 3 with JJ vs QQ, and AK vs AQ vs AQ, then finally AA vs KK. Does god hate me?

[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, I hate those AA vs KK coinflips...either a K comes or it doesn't, it's 50/50.
