Ask me about your phone bill (landline service)

Why do people keep calling me on my phone? I swear man, all day and night, the phone is ringing and ringing. I sometimes get as much as THREE phone calls in a week. What kind of society is this?

how much is it for me to get out of my year ATT landline/dsl contract? im getting kind of annoyed at our bill and kind of just want to drop att altogether and get cable internet.

99 bucks...is ur bill fluctuating? lot of long distance calls? Possible that a different calling plan can help. I find that's the top thing that people aren't looking at when they look at their bill. They look at the amount but not the reason the bill is the amount that it is...

example:.... "My bill is outrageous, it's never this high, Im ready to leave ATT!"

my response(s) normally fall into this kind of category

a. "Ma'am, you receive 2 dozen collect calls a month"
b. "Ma'am, do you realize you've made 84 information calls?"
c. "Sir, you signed up for an hour's worth of long-distance and local toll calls, but, you make about 8 hours worth of calls a month..."

Another thing about cable is price, its way more expensive than DSL, and the speed is not all that different. DSL is dedicated for your phoneline, cable is like a community line that everyone taps into (kinda like Brandi Hawbaker, but, I'll leave that for NVG). Cable's like the freeway, the more people that are on it, the slower it goes.

I agree with you there...I have no clue how to change avatar/post links/pics etc....i DO know how to set up phone service though.
