I have no faith in NJ anymore. It's not a "spiritual" thing either. I don't trust them to win any basketball games, small ball or otherwise. GS is a tough team; I realize they lost to Toronto, but they are going to break out of their funk eventually and I think that tonight is the night they do it. I passed on this game. I don't trust either team right now.

Dallas I took over Sac (-3.5); I also took the over 190, as Dallas' offense usually plays off the offensive SCHEME of the other team. Even if Sac doesn't have Martin, it will be a offensively based game I feel. Josh Howard and Artest will be busting each other's asses all night; although both are defensive minded, they may break out into a scoring war (which artest is prone to do from time to time). Irregardless, the rest of the respective teams should break 190 against each other total.

Took Seattle against Memphis (+120). Seattle has been playing pretty tough lately; Memphis as Pao yet, I still think that Seattle has a better team and Pao is still recovering. Plus, memphis has other injuries day to day. Seattle lost a couple of road games, but the majority was close and to superior teams. I think Seattle comes in tonight and fares well.


I took the player prop bet - Kidd +31.5 R/A/S, which I think is going to be a steal.

That has to be a typo on Dal/Sac. You mean 193.5 and 190, right? This would be an easy easy over for me at 180. Right now, it's at 191, which is right about where I have it, so I'm passing.

As for the MIA game, I actually took the under last night at 179. That was probably a mistake, not because I don't like the under, but because the line was likely to move up today. This is the type of game that my new system changes were made to fix. We'll see what happens.
