you guys have no idea how happy i am to hear this.
i'm moving to vegas next summer to "take my shot" while i'm still young.
i for one love the card room environment. it's definitely much easier for me to focus than it is at home on a computer. i play 1/2-5/10 LHE online and am a winner, so hearing this makes me feel a lot better about probably being able to beat 10/20- 40/80 or so.

1 player can beat online out of 25 hours of play at foxwoods that i saw, i used to play 40 hours a week there 2002-2003 and the competition has really declined but a huge amount.

I enjoy live play more than online play. Although online I can play in the comfort of my own home; a large part of my game deals with human interaction, reading people/situations, and getting a real "feel" for the game/table. Unfortunately I don't get much from an online avatar where my only read can be, "Well, he let his bar run low, he must have it."(sarcasm).

By the way, where do you go to receieve rakeback?

Online is a lot tougher, especially since the law.

people don't make 100BB/100hands online. some do in 1/2NL at casinos. i guess with multitabling and getting a ton more hands per hour as well, you can overcome the $/hr gap maybe.
