I get this problem intermittently. I was just six tabling some NL cash, get KK against a donkey, raise it huge PF, he calls. Flop is J33, he bets at me, I go to raise and NOPE, YELLOW SCREEN OF DEATH! Usually it only lasts a few seconds then the connection comes back, but this time it totally froze. I had to end task on FT and reload. Of course I was sitting out on all my tables when I came back... I really wish someone could figure this out..

Im 99% sure the problem is my ISP or perhaps my dsl modem. After putting so much time trying to figure out a software or hardware issue within my machine this is a relief I guess. I had a technician come out who couldnt figure out the problem, suggested it was the modem. They had trouble finding anything with a diagnostic test bc the connection was good whenever they did the test. After the technician came a few days ago, I called them directly to run a test the next time it happened. The guy said he would call me back but never did, though I think they mustve done something though because it hasnt happened the past couple days. If it does continue I will probably buy a new dsl modem.

Here is what I did, and this seems to work. Make some BAT files to start the applications. Here is my FT.bat

echo off
cd c:\program files\full tilt poker
start "Full Tilt" /high "C:\Program Files\Full Tilt Poker\FullTiltPoker.exe"

and here is my pokertracker bat file

echo off
start "Poker Tracker" /low "C:\Program Files\Poker Tracker V2\ptrack2.exe"

you want to run FT in high priority mode, and pokertracker in low priority.

Have you tried disabling avatars? I have had FT lockup on an old POS computer when avatars were enabled, removing them fixed the problem.
