Re: TPTK push or fold?
You raise this flop.
You have tptk. Why are you checking this flop? You are going to fold if anyone stabs at it? You are going to check call down out of position? You were planning a check raise but SB stole your idea? Bet the flop, fold or shove over a reraise depending on opponent and read. |

[/ QUOTE ] First of all, the checking on the flop is because i was not the pre-flop raiser. The MP is going to Cbet, so i want to know where i stand in the hand in regards to SB. Essentially I have position on the flop. I was planning a check-raise but SB beat me to it. |

Re: TPTK push or fold?
I would call, and if he showed more strength and higher bets on the turn, i would fold, becuase of the prospect of the five. honestly, other than that his hands that can beat yours are so marginal i dont see any reason to think theres anything that can draw out on you. only pair of K's or pocket A's are the only thing you have to worry about, all two pair options for [censored] hands are counterfitted by the board 5's
pushing is bad idea, you're just hanging a bet to be folded to if he's got a worse hand, and call you if he's got a five. -Evan |
