Well its deeper, Ivey knows all that so he'll know it isnt a great spot to bluff etc. Also decent chance Ivey doesnt have much either. v. a donk I doubt Jman raises.

Something i don't think i've ever seen explicitly stated, but do the people who've played ivey feel he is an amazing NL player, or do they feel they have an edge, however small? Whenever the topic of toughest people to play against comes up, Ivey doesn't seem to be the first one mentioned, or often times mentioned at all, its always Antonius, Aba, Durrrr and Ozzy.

Speculating obviously, but they would probably [censored] themselves playing him HU live, whereas online most people that sit against Ivey have much more experience online and thus potentially a greater intuitive feel for online play, which is really what high stakes HU comes down to ultimately.

The other thing to consider is that Ivey, just like all the other Big Game players, does not player NL nearly as often as the aforementioned.

SEA,

"but they would probably [censored] themselves playing him HU live"

I'm pretty sure most of the guys who feel they have an edge playing Phil HU online would be happy to play him HU NL live.

I think I have an edge on Ivey, but not on the 4 players you listed. I would play him more often if I could afford to handle the swings.

El D,

I'm sure that durrr and Aba would be glad to play Ivey live, but I don't think I have a huge edge on him online, and I think he probably has an edge on me live. I'm a tellbox.

Matusow challenged me to play me live for any stakes, and will give me 20% of my money back. Im currently looking for backers to play him HU, 100/200 NL, $100k stacks. Anyone interested?
