Play more hands, read more books, post more, play another 50K hands, think about things for yourself, -->> AAxx becomes most profitable hand in omaha by a long long way.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't disagree with you but rarely do any of the posters who offer this advice tell you which factors to actually
pay attention to while you are playing those 50k hands...

"Learning by doing" is a very bad method if you are actually doing everything wrong.

And by the way, there aren't a lot of books. I finished everything I could find on Omaha in a week.

Does anyone know of a study by Caro or anyone else that might prove AA is the most profitable hand?

As I wrote this post I had AA twice and 5x my money maybe its a sign.

[/ QUOTE ]

If you look at pokertracker stats it's totally obvious. Aces should be the most profitable hand, even for bad players.

I think I'd have to lok at how you went about this. I can't think of a good way to filter hands to see. If you're just talking about filtering hands that have pairs in them then of course that's the case. But seeing as Omaha is a 4-card game I think there may be a problem.
