Anyone had accout hacked into? What happens now?

Actually no, I will name the sites, give me one more day to see if I hear anything back or progress and I will name names, it is 3 of the top 5 US sites.

Sorry to hear about this... the same thing happened to me last week... at one site, they transferred $500 into my account but I caught it before they were able to play it off.

At another site, they played off my entire balance. I am a very high volume player at this site, and they have hinted that they might refund whatever could not be recovered.

I'll be interested in watching this thread to see how your situation turns out.

And the guy that said to call the police... what absolutely useless advice.

what do yo mean by transfered into your account? you mean deposited from neteller or whatever? thats scary, Im nota high volume player but it did take me some time to build up what I had there and was planning on playing a little higher than Ihave in past, so it definately makes me rethink about playing almost exclusively on the internet. BTW how long before they unlocked your account and let you play again?

I feel for ya bro.The same thing happened to me on Party this summer to the tune of about $2300.You can imagine how that turned out with the stellar PP Cs.Anyway,I did learn a costly lesson from that.secure your computer.If they hit 3 sites w/your accounts,the problem is w/your computer not the sites.Probably a keylogger.

There was a great thread,that I believe is a sticky now,about how to secure your computer.

Here is what i learned:
1)NEVER save passwords online.
2)Make sure your hardware firewall is up.
3)After you clean your computer,make sure you have a good Anti-Virus program downloaded.I use Kaspersky personally,but there are other good ones.
4)Get a good anti-spyware program like Zone Alarm.
5)Get a good router like Linksys to add another layer of security.

It sucks what happened to you.Your money is gone.Hope this helps.I haven't had any problems since thanks to the smart people here at 2P2.

Yeah it means that they had my neteller secure ID. I strongly suspect either a keylogger or someone hacked a wireless network I used at a hotel last month.

Either way I have also learned a valuable lesson.
