You have 500, villain has 400.

You have to call 46$ more at a 11% chance of winning his remaining 340$.

fold PF here, you can find a better spot, with that kind of a re-raise its very likely its QQ-KK.

again so fold !

Hes in position with JJ, thats the easiest call in the world.

say hero is 20/15. he's raising 15% of his hands pre flop, so he must be raising at least 25% when it's folded to him on the button, probably more. if he folds JJ, he should also fold AK. so our opening range is 25% and our defense vs a 3bet range is QQ+, or 1.4%. i don't see any way we could be exploited doing that - looks fine.

ok, but do you prefer calling here or 3 betting preflop. Even though we are in postion i wouldn't be comfortable with a lot of flops vs a cbet. Obviously this is entirely villain dependent, but i would find myself raising preflop here a lot more then i would be calling unless villain was very weak.

i like a call. i don't mind playing postflop when i'm in position, and 4betting risks folding out all of the worse hands. i think op's line is perfect as long as he folds the flop.

putting in another raise preflop would be very bad, unless we got QQ to fold

ok cheers, say you had been playing 40/30 Lag at a table would that lend you to want too 3 bet preflop more or call more in position?

Personally if this hand happened to me i would probably find myself 3 betting here a lot more then calling and was wondering whether this is an even bigger or smaller mistake if you were playing uber lag?

well if your 40/30 style is going to open up his range enough that he is going to three bet and then call a preflop push with like 55+, A8+, then it makes sense to push here with JJ.
