Just curious - has anyone eaten at Taco Bell since the whole E. Coli thing?

[/ QUOTE ]
Haven't heard anything about this. There's a TB about 35 minutes away so it's not worth the ride, there was one a few blocks away but it got shut down due to horrible service most likely.

What Taco Bell? I ate at the one in Levittown on Tuesday night. I had no idea about the scare, and I never even stopped to think why nobody was in there. Then after I ate my sister told me about it and I made a "Beat" post in BBV about it.

Cheesy Gordita Crunch, Crunchy Taco, Cinnamon Twists. No sickness.

I also know people who ate last week at one of the ones that was infected (before anyone knew about it); they're fine.

Haven't touched it so far. No plans to for the time being either.

I don't understand this logic, yet I see it time and again. When there's a public health scare involving a restaurant it quickly becomes the SAFEST place to eat because extra precautions are taken to avoid more liability.

Personally, I'd have no issues eating there in the near future. No doubt their store managers are making sure there are no health code violations, at least for the near term.

Eating at Taco Bell now is the same as flying the day after the Security Terror Alert has been raised, it's super safe most likely because they are all taking the extra measures to ensure health safety.

Actually - the one in Levittown - on Hempstead Turnpike - is exactly the one I was talking about. That place is always busy - but now - not too much business going on. I don't actually eat there much - but it happens to be on my way home and after the story broke - I couldn't help but notice the severe dropoff in customers.

I'm assuming by next weekend tacos will be a-flyin' once more.
