Tuesday 12/26 Picks:

FLORIDA +1.5 (-151) @ Carolina
- I got the price on MansionX; it's been -170 on some other books. Florida won the first this year 6-3, and lost in overtime Dec 23rd. However, both games were in Fla, and Carolina has dominated the series on their home ice the past few years. Basically I like the price getting the 1.5 goal.

Another play for tonight off Mansion:

PIT +1.5 (-167) @ NJ
- Series year to date: NJ 2-1, PIT 4-2, NJ 5-2. Pit hasn't been very successful in NJ, but they are playing well enough lately and NJ is in a bit of a slump. Again I like the price with the points.

Tuesday Results: 0-2 -2.00 units

FLORIDA +1.5 (-151) @ Carolina *LOSS*
Empty net goal.

PIT +1.5 (-167) @ NJ *LOSS*
Penquins were shutout 3 zip.

It was the distinct home ice advantages the teams have historically had (over their respective opponents tonight) versus what looked like a good price for the extra goal and a half. Home-ice prevailed tonight.

YTD:
Point Spreads 4-2, -0.47 unit
Money Line 2-2, -0.60 unit
Totals 3-0, +2.28 unit
Overall 9-4, +1.21 units

Wednesday (12/27) Play:

@VANCOUVER +1.5 (-250) over Calgary. 1 unit.
- Series tied 2-2. Vancouver won last two by 3-1 margin, including yesterday's game in Calgary. I guess Calgary has the revenge factor, but Vancouver has home ice, they are healthier, and they've only lost by 2 or more goals to the Flames 1 in 4 tries this year, which works out well for the price.
