You can't be sure of the AJ/AA reads until a raising war starts. You have to think you have a fair amount of outs here (though you don't know what they are) until the action indicates otherwise. I'd call the initial turn bet and re-evaluate everything again.

I probably wouldn't 3-bet p/f either, but I know some who would. Change your hand to KJs or KQ and there's a good chance I would though.

That is the part that makes this intersting. This is a typical timing tell. It is usually a monster. Now all I have to do is act on it when I see it.

It only applies when you are playing with a guy often enough so that the last 50 hands you played in that session you noticed that his connection was good and his actions in tempo.

I agree with your rationale, but I'd trust something like that alot more in a live game than on the net (betting out of tempo). Think you can rely on such a nuance accurately enough to fold in this situation given the pot odds? I couldn't, but maybe I'm not that good! lol.

This fold is pretty bad. If you're that confident that you are way behind, only call if there is one raise to you on the turn and fold on the river unless and A or 9 comes.
