Considering your stack and your read on his donkishness, you might very well be up against a suited ace or a small PP which he will eventually call. A medium Ace A8s/A9o+ would be good.

[/ QUOTE ]

Would he not more likely raise a small pp or suited A given he's 50 / 22?

Absent the PF raise from this guy, I would certainly look to go broke c-shoving a favorable flop.

[/ QUOTE ]

PF Raise?

[/ QUOTE ]

Absent..as in there wasn't one. Where favorable would certainly be a TP - absent villian's PF raise.

Ahead of his range isn't the biggest factor. With 8 blinds (serving as a +, not a -), we don't want a caller. The disparity between the non-monster stacks isn't great enough to "welcome" a call from this guy. A few hundred less chips maybe. Someone break out wiz and see what limp/shove-calling ranges look like.

Youre obv right, I'd feel more comfortable with a somewhat solid ace, but you need the chips.

Bluefeet....obviously getting called would be bad, but don't you think villan usually folds this?

Cheers for clearing that up bluefeet. Was just checking you didnt read the OP as stating a raise.

What would OPs stack need to be for you to push this?

From a 50%'r? Not in my experience...not with his stack...not enough anyway. I can run sngwiz when I get home.

I shove this. You are the short stack, they're no other shorties, you have a moron playing 50% of hands in the pot, your hand crushes his range, he'll prolly just fold, and if he does call you prolly aren't in that bad of shape. That was a lot of commas.
