China? I thought for sure that the giant sucking sound inhaling all the world's construction materials world was centered in Las Vegas. It looks that way every time I visit or hear about the development plans. LOL.

How much is the time charge there now, in the top section?

Is the 5-150 drop or time?

You can see the huge area that they have cleared/clearing to the south of the main parking lot.

I was told that is a water project and the new casino is going out back.

5-150 is $3 or $4 rake plus up to $2 BBJ. Honestly I dont pay too much attention to the rake/BBJ structure and am content knowing that if I am paying rake/BBJ it is because I won a big pot.

Last time I played the 40 game it was $8 per down with time pots with a >=$80 pot to qualify for time. The time pots dont seem to effect the action much, YMMV...

I have heard both. Frankly I am not counting on either until I see a super structure going up.

hmmm, I was barred from entering the CAAZ for the crime of entering with a bottle of water. After dipatching my bottle of criminal water I was given a coupon for a free bottle of CAAZ water. When I returned to the entrance with the CAAZ water still unopened I was told if I stepped outside I could not return with said water as it may be violated during my trip past the doors to the casino. I don't think I will be back too soon.

They are just trying to watch their ass with all of the liquer laws Arizona has. I'm glad they are this strict personally, no need for the place to get shut down because someone was entering/leaving with alcohol.

Last time I checked, except for Vegas you can't just walk in to a Casino with an open bottle of anything. Might just be me though.

I usually bring a bottle of water with me and this was the first time I was stopped. I acutally brought 2 into the CAAZ when I first got there with no problem. It was when I walked out and came back that I got a cold reception.

This is really, really standard. They want you to pay for liqour rather then go pour it into your bottle. All types of places that sell refreshments have this rule.
