4-1? If we make it 220 straight on the turn and he shoves it's going to be 660 to win 1,340.

Yea bet around pot on flop, you aren't gaining any information about his hand on the flop and you have 2nd pair with the nut flush draw this is surely a betting situation. I would check turn behind him most likely.

yads was saying we were getting 4-1 to just call the $80 turn bet, not the odds we'd get if we raised and he pushed. i think i bet the flop against some opponents and then check down unless i hit a diamond/king

I don't like betting flop at all with the NFD. I think you played it well, and that river is a fold.

Isn't this one of those situations where you don't want to turn a decent hand into a bluff on the flop?

Agree on that, but seems too passive and what are we saying, we muck to no diamond or K? I suppose it is read based, but I like the turn raise better without any specific reads.

Hooray for bluffing with no fold equity.

I disagree. Unless you have cemented that villain has a strong A, which I have not.

Villain called a re-raise PF OOP. If he has an A, he is never folding it, ever, especially given his weak turn bet, which will convince him that he induced a bluff.
