I really don't see how any of these are close.

Tennessee can't stop the run, the Giants can't stop the pass, and Cooley > Washington.

[/ QUOTE ]

Just because Tennesee can't stop the run doesn't mean the Colts won't pass. In the last Colts vs Tennessee game the play calling was 31 pass / 34 run and Rhodes did most of the damage (20 for 84 vs Addai's 13 for 62).

Ancient,

Look for Addai to proggressively get more and more of the load as the season progresses, as he has. This doesn't mean that him and Rhodes couldn't split next week but week 5 Addai and week 13 Addai are way different.

EDIT: Just know that I think Jamal Lewis and Addai are very close and I would have a hard time with this too. The best plan is to drink a lot and whatever gut feeling arises go with it!

Everyone saying "Romo over Palmer not close" is on crack IMO.

Also, I don't think my decisions are too close except at WR, but I'll post them anyway.

Dynasty league, TD only, crazy-ass scoring, yadda yadda

1 QB: Brees vs SF, Pennington @ GB, Garrard @ MIA
2 RB: Westbrook vs CAR, Gore @ NO, McGahee vs SD, Caddy @ PIT
* 2 WR: DJax @ DEN, Fitzgerald @ STL, Horn vs SF, Cotchery @ GB, A Bryant @ NO
1 TE: Heap @ CIN, Stevens @ DEN
1 K: Stover @ CIN, Tynes @ CLE

* As mentioned above, I could activate Devery from my reserve roster, which would mean dropping a WR, likely Antonio Bryant. I don't think this would be a big loss; his numbers have sucked since Week 2 and his DUI makes me nervous for his future in SF. On the other hand, I think platooning DJax/Fitzgerald/Horn is still a very solid option at WR for this year, and it allows me to retain both Bryant and Henderson until next year, when I should have a better idea of their situations for 2007 (ie, whether Horn retires, whether the Niners draft/sign some new WRs).

Palmer vs Baltimore makes this a reasonable position to take this week. In general though, anyone saying Romo over Palmer is indeed on crack.

My gut says Jamal Lewis.

I think a lot of Addai support is a kneejerk reaction to the Eagles game. I'm not saying that the Titans will be any better against the run, but Addai has been inconsistent and Colts have a lot of offensive options to spread the ball around.

On the other hand, Lewis ran pretty well against a strong Pittsburg run defense, has a history of rushing well vs Bengals, Bengals run defense sucks, and Lewis doesn't share carries.

AncientPC,

The Titans run defense is BAD. I'm talking - as bad as Philadelphia's was tonight. I'm not saying he will score 4 TDs, but he could easily score one. Lewis vs. Addai is close, but Rhodes is getting much less of the ball.

Yeah, Palmer a few weeks ago had a subpar game by his career standards vs. the Ravens and he still put up good #'s.

Can someone explain how Romo vs. Palmer is so one sided right now? I think its close but I'd lean towards Palmer. What are you guys basing this pick on? Just this week?

QBs are about the same, although I would choose Palmer in most cases since Cinn's bad defense leads to shootouts. NYG pass defense is just much worse than Baltimore pass defense in this case.
