against very aggro players i becoming a call-calling station. sometimes i am a call-folding station. even other times i am a folding station. since i know they will never fold pairs online, i rarely become a raising station, or in this case a raise-bet-calling station.

Question, if you're trying to steal the blinds, is it a leak if you just let go of a hand such as A8 you're not 100% sure if you hit your hands you'll still win?
Normally, since the pots are so small HU while stealing the blinds I'm less aggressive with raises. I'm more likely to call down than to raise. I'm talking about a paired board while your holding a ace mid kicker or something similar to that. Your image has a big part on how they play you on the flop. If you're the type to pound the board HU while blind stealing I'm sure they're likely to playback at you even more. What I try to do is try and keep my opponents honest at all times and slowdown alot while blind stealing. |

[/ QUOTE ] Not a "leak" but A8s is a hand that can be played profitably, so the goal should be to get to the point where you can play it well. That said, playing within oneself is a skill that many lack and can turn an otherwise winning player into a loser. |
