College? Pfft waste of time. I don't get people that waste all those years in high school then pay to spend another 3 or 4 out of the job market just to graduate and live the next 25 years of their life only making between $500K and $1 million a year. Seems like a waste to me. Drop out when you hit 16. Start a company and by the time you're of graduating age if you're not making $1 million a year kill yourself because you're worthless.
Maybe it's my upbringing(My family are all productive members of high society) but I just don't get you people and your petty sub $500K jobs. I'm not proposing social cleansing....though taking out the trash probably wouldn't be THAT bad right? I know I wouldn't shed a tear.

This will easily buy you a decent house, a car (or two not great cars), food and clothing for a full family in an average red state - and you will still have enough left over for things like vacations and going out to nice dinners on special occasions. The median income level in the USA for 1999 (last accurate economic data I can find) was $27,275 for males and $15,311 for females. The median is not the mathematical average, but is a more accurate statistic for this type of data. This means that half the population makes more than this number, half below - however the vast majority will be fairly close to the number (bell curve). You sir, live in a fantasy world. Not that most of the rest of us here don't either, but you're particularly deluded if you think $250k is not a high paying job in every possible circumstance.
