Re: Continuation of AK hand
I think I'd fold with 5 people seeing the flop. Someone could easily have something like AQ or 55. I'd usually get it all in if I only have 1-2 opponents.

Re: Continuation of AK hand
I have a little bit of a different take on this hand pre flop in this situation. Mamy times i agree just call pre. In this situation I like a raise to 240 with 2 players in the pot. Most times if there was more or less players already in I would just call or if I was in earlier postion I would just call.
3 betting puts up a mini squeeze situation(I know it isnt in text book terms)If I get called by the intial pfr I can put him on a very strong hand with another player still to act behind. By not rasing pre you have elected to play it slow which is ok but by calling a allin check raise arent you defeating the purpose? Having said that I really cant see you being behind anything but maybe A5s anything else why is he pushing allin? I havent pokerstoved it but maybe AJd maybe you are a coin flip and would play this way. |

Re: Continuation of AK hand
GKA,
Is he a regular? Against an unknown this is such an easy call. |

Re: Continuation of AK hand
isn't there a decent chance we're looking at AQ here w/so many 3xbb callers?
