I've read a few things that suggest the NFL Network doesn't generate much revenue for the NFL. But, it's great leverage for the NFL to get maximum value out of their network TV cotracts. The implicit threat that the NFL can air its games on its own network drives the TV rights up.

It was reported by several beat writers in the Denver area today, and was talked about on the air of the NFL Network for a while today. It's not "lolish" it's a definite possibility.

My area just recently picked up the NFL Network. Good thing too because the other matchups suck.
