IIRC, Clay doesn't answer the question of if he's gay or not.

Kelly's comment could be considered homophobic if Clay is gay, she'd be saying with her comment "That hand probably touched some other guy's crotch, get it away!"

If Rosie is assuming that it's common knowledge that he's Gay, then what is upsetting? Maybe Kelly really thinks his hand WAS on some dudes balls. Why would she want another guys ball stench on her mouth? She's married. I mean, SHOULD Kelly want a gay man's hand on her mouth?
