Neon Deion baby. Corners are very valuable and he was by far the best.

[/ QUOTE ]

Exactly. Aikman was great, but he was never the caliber of QB that Deion was CB.

Aikman would've amounted to a lot w/ Moore & Perriman IMO.

I would say that good DBs back in the early 90s were not nearly as valuable as they are now, given the rule changes and proliferation of passing games we have seen in the last several years.

[/ QUOTE ]

ok, but do you think aikman amounts to anything on the lions?

[/ QUOTE ]

I took out the word "nearly" in my previous post. But no, I don't think Aikman would have done any better with the Lions than Barry did.

This might be interesting: Sporting News- Football's 100 Greatest Players

12. Barry Sanders
37. Deion Sanders
95. Troy Aikman

[/ QUOTE ]I don't disagree with that. I'd still take Deion, the Troy, then Barry just because of their positions.

We are assuming that we have the first pick in the draft and a league average players at every position other than the one we draft?

I don't see how this goes any other way than Aikman/Barry/Neon.

Neon Deion is greatest corner ever. Barry is a top 3 RB ever. And Aikman is a just a run of the mill HOF QB. I think some people aren't looking at what OP posted.

Can we instead talk about how much it sucks that the Packers passed on Barry Sanders, Derrick Thomas, and Deion Sanders at #2 to take Tony Mandarich?

Very overrated player

Derrick Thomas needs to be in this discussion too, IMO.
