Re: KK 300BB deep
I prefer leading 60% pot. My only problem with checking is that alot of hands we beat will bet and it makes our hand uber transparetn. We either got J-J or big pair not aces. If villan is as hero described and a solid thinking TAG, I see a push here with a wide range which is +EV if checked to.
How much are you willing to call if you check the flop? I think checking in this spot opens up doors that you want remained closed. More discussion on the flop please. Very interesting. My prefered lineL With a flop lead of 160, your risking the minimum while not showing complete weakness. Any raise or push is either a pure bluff or has you drawing to two outs IMO. A check allows a smart player to own you |

Re: KK 300BB deep
This just gotta be aces. Maybe JJ or KK ^^, can't see him doing this with QQ if he's a "good tag".

Re: KK 300BB deep
Thanks for the comments
Calling the shove was definitely spew. I am not sure what I was thinking on the flop. But I was running so hot that night I gladly called his push! |

Re: KK 300BB deep
Definitely 4bet preflop against a good TAG with a wide range. Size is fine by me since you're in position. Checking the flop is not a great idea, IMO, unless you've already given up on the hand. No need to bet so much though. Fold to the raise for sure.
