Re: LIVE NL Tourney Hand Question
I agree that his range would be quite wide. But pushing to eliminate him only raises the pot by 600 (of other players chips) yet risks 6600 of you own(??).
Why risk against the one guy who can eliminate you? |

Re: LIVE NL Tourney Hand Question
Increase the odds of winning the pot? Since a missed flop, I would have to call UTG's last 600 with nothing, and button would have position and could easily take the hand away?

Re: LIVE NL Tourney Hand Question
OK, so fold now or on a missed flop. I just don't like all-in into chip leader who's called a raise with AJs.

Re: LIVE NL Tourney Hand Question
I definately didnt like the situation as it happened. I knew I had to call SB's push, but looking at that other 600 from UTG, whom i thought i had the better hand, and the fact that button just called.
I guess I honestly thought that the button would not have a hand that he could risk his entire stack with, since he just called my 800. Button did end up having KK, and said show me them aces when the hands were revealed. SB=AQ, UTG=QJ, ME=AJ. Nothing like not having alot of cards to help. Button's Kings held up. |
