The last 3 rounds he 3-bet a ton so I was fairly sure villain in this hand had a wide 3-betting range. Button also had a wide range since he was a frequint blind stealer. I also thought that villain would only call with AA/KK and occasionally QQ (very very maybe AK), his range is much much wider than that (the same goes for button) so a 4-bet 'should' be +ev. Later on I refined my reads a bit and realized he was a bad lagtard, but I didn't know this at the time.

This is probably one of the very few situations where I thought a 4-bet with trash had value, it really didn't matter what cards I had since the play is based on fold equity. OP: Expert. I assume you snap call preflop if he pushes too because of pot odds.

Oh and nice hand, its played a bit to standard so I'd probably just open push the flop to get value from 45s.

Its a good idea to make this play with reads that will later get refined. And b/c he is 3betting so much preflop after only 3 orbits, it is wise to assume that he only calls w/ AA KK and maybe QQ b/c most seemingly maniacal players dont push on you with any 2 or call incredibly light.
