when i first read the action i thought you were going to try for the bet-call the flop and then checkraise the turn line. that is a good line to take in some instances, but not on this board. i would have 3-bet and gone from there, but given that you didn't 3-bet the flop, i would have checkraised the turn given the opportunity.

but then i read your comments and you felt like you were behind enough to play this passively. you slowed down waaaay too fast here. you have AA. no straights or flushes are possible and you got raised once on the flop and that is reason enough to suddenly slow down? you only get AA every so often, use them wisely.
