Re: Middle pair in the BB
[ QUOTE ]
Just realised we are over 8:1 for a 5 outer. Can we be sure our implied odds make up enough for this fact? [/ QUOTE ] IMO yes. A raise here very often means a K (ragged board). If we CR turn/bet river we will often win 6sb extra. This give us enough overlay even when we consider the possibility that we will sometimes hit and lose, villain was bluffing etc, I think. |

Re: Middle pair in the BB
[ QUOTE ]
If they are loose passive, I'm thinking about O/C's that will inevitably fall on the turn and river. I want to take the immediate odds of one stab at the small pot, to win right away. [/ QUOTE ] Isn't this a bit scared ('they always draw out it's no poit to try to protect')? Sure OC' will often fall but not always. And even if they do, opps can't have them all. |

[/ QUOTE ] Sushi, yes, this is what I would do in a ring game. In a 6max game, with added aggression you can approach it a bit differently. This is starting to turn into like a pointless txt message conversation you would have with a chick who has a pretty face, but is a bit fat. |
