[ QUOTE ]
What the OP is doing and what you did is stealing. I don't give a sh1t, but don't try to rationalize it being someone else's fault. If somebody left their wallet at your house, would you say its okay to take it because it's their fault for leaving it? Just call a spade a spade. [/ QUOTE ] Someone stole your brain. |

I don't think she'll get caught. If she has no moral qualms with being a thief, then go for it.

All you mocking him can eat it! You are all right in that, who care, it's not costing them much... BUT it still is stealing. Even though it's like stealing a quarter from somebody's change dish, it is still stealing. So myeh!!!! Thou shalt not mock him!!!!

The signal to activate the box comes via the cable line. If it is a two way box (cable modem also) then they will eventually find out that you are watching it. If it does not have two way capabilities, then you can watch until they send a signal to disable it.
One way to delay that is to keep the box unplugged when you are not watching it. They don't send a constant signal, so if you box is unplugged when the signal comes, it won't know to turn it off. The signal will repeat periodically, but I don't know how often or if they will stop sending that code to your box. |
