Band of Brothers is so far beyond Saving Private Ryan it makes me wish they just took that money to make a 20 episode series instead. Bastogne is a remarkable episode not only for the epic Battle of the Bulge, but for it's singular focus on the field Medic. His story of a grandmother that burdens the sickness of others apon herself touches an emotional peak that the best of writers dream about scribing.

I've seen each episode at least 6 times, some more than 10, and i get shivers throughout. Even the most jaded Spielbergian Hater can't help but appreciate the series (that includes you AlienBoy).

I have the box set, it's amazing. Definitely THE BEST miniseries, movie, documentary, etc about WWII.

I have seen every episode countless times. BOB is a a great achievement and is dramatically riveting.

I would also like to note that this series is worth it if only to note what a fantastic actor Donnie Wahlberg has turned out to be.
