[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] It would normally be standard vs a TAG, but what has me questioning it is the size of the raise. This makes this hand not standard at all. He doesn't want a call here... J-10h. Tough spot though. [/ QUOTE ] He could also have you beat and figure since OP is a TAG he has an overpair and just assume OP will call with an overpair in this spot. [/ QUOTE ] 3rd level thinking will break you at 200NL [/ QUOTE ] The key is using it selectively. When OP introduced the Villain as decent or whatever he called him I assumed this type of knowledge would be beneficial. My stats don't show any signs of being broken at 200NL, lol. |

Re: KK standard?
If a TAG only fires two barrels with an overpair he's pretty expolitable.

Re: KK standard?
Your turn bet is way too small, bet much closer to the pot ($45 is good). As played, your turn bet looks like a really weak 2nd barrel which may have caused him to make a move on you. I shove this all day long and don't lose a wink over it.

Re: KK standard?
ooh your turn bet does look really weak...i think i have sometimes actually made this small 1/2 pot on turn to induce bluff (or incorrect value) raises when i have a big pair or a set here

Re: KK standard?
This player (rcwhite) did basically this exact same thing at a table I was at. He had pair + FD. He probably had the same in your hand.
