Is there any sort of statistically significant correlation between SAT and LSAT scores?

I got a 156 on my first practice.

I intend on getting a 165+.

[/ QUOTE ]

Definitely possible. I scored a 151 on my first practice and increased my score by 19 points after taking testmasters. I have a buddy who did similarly on the practice but got a 180 on the test.

So huge leaps are definitely possible.

173.. wasn't too hard

[/ QUOTE ]

Ditto. I got a 176 and only bought one prep book. Just do a lot of practice tests and read the prep book to get familiar with the types of problems you'll see on there.

haha apparently everyone on 2+2 scored in the upper 5%. every time there's a thread like this ppl fer sure lie about their scores.

[/ QUOTE ]

I doubt they lie. People who do better will be more likely to report it.

[/ QUOTE ]

Word, no one is going to show up and tell OOT that they got some wack score.

[/ QUOTE ]

i think you underestimate how much people care about their online persona.

meh i don't want to argue about it, and i obviously have no evidence to support my accusation (other than my knowledge that people lie). my reasoning is: people lie about this stuff in life and they're just as likely if not more likely to lie about it on the internet. basically i just think that this type of thread is useless for OP.

I got 169 with zero preparation. If you are generally good at standardized tests I wouldn't worry about it, its not much different than any of the others.

I was told that you take your verbal score and drop off the zero from the end and add a 1 at the beginning.

Mine worked out exact.

720 >>>> 172.

The LSAT was both easy and fun. Here's a hint though: bring a watch.
