Default Re: can anyone stop me c-betting here?

I can't think of a single hand I would check behind with here.

Chance the 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] to 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and it's a different story though.

Obviously. But OP has said he has a pair here, which is more reason to c-bet because of the possible FD's, no? Even then, HU, if you're the one with a FD, you c-bet anyway to build the pot for the times it does hit on the turn. If there's a flatcall and check to you on the turn, you take the free card on river, not the turn.

Otherwise, what are you doing on turn if it's checked to you again? Delayed c-bet or take a uberpassive line till river?

thx evg - it does seem right to always c-bet here

and i'm guessing that if you check when the 3 is a [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] it's because you ARE thinking uberpassive and want to get to showdown cheaply, say with top pair and no diamond, or ....

what would u check if it was Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]?
