I dont like check-call on the flop against an unknown. Id rather bet 3/4 of the pot and let him float with all sorts of crap, and then punish him on the turn if I think he's bluffing. As played on the flop, I think the turn is fine.

i think flop check is good...

btw if i were to c/c turn, i would then c/c river (or c/r river) or push river if spade doesnt hit
