I just can't see a b/f on the river here. I'll bluff/raise a river like this often if I think the other players are weak or I have them on a crap hand; especially when it's live.

MP has been leading the action all the way, and even though I hate that river card I'd still have to make the crying call with the odds and the fact that there a metric [censored] ton of hands we beat here that play the same line he did. Any over pair would be taking the same line that MP did and with SB being a calling station throughout I wouldn't expect him to show a winning hand here. C/c for the win.

none of them are acting like they have a 3 period. And someone would have most likely bet a 5 on the flop but theres no guarantee.

One if not both of your opp are drawing so checking and folding are not good im my opinion, just because the sequence goes bet call.
Leading and folding to a raise is a very good line here. but as the hand was played you only have to be right about 7% of the time to make calling right on this river. checking and folding is you worst line, with the two calls.

can you be 93% sure that the person who led isnt bluffing and the caller has the boat( a five would re-raise 100% and a 3 in this hand is highly unlikely from the way it was played)

For the record, I folded my straight faceup after some deliberation.

Just curious. Why did you do this?

Is it? I'm assuming the 4/8 game is a typical low limit live game. I can see people betting/calling with an overpair or 6 often enough for you to be good.

I agree its a really easy fold in a game with even half-way competent players, but here...

That doesn't sound like the type of image you should like to portray.

Don't do this, it never works. It tells bad players ur trying to win, and gives good players free information.

...yes it tells me ur trying to win...
