Re: 50nl 6max | AA turn decision
My question is what is he limp calling UTG that takes this line that I currently beat?

Re: 50nl 6max | AA turn decision
u can beat a few overpairs and draws. He's actually repping a boat here, but I'd just call with a boat cuz miniraise is so awkward. This makes me think he doesn't know what he's doing and might just be the only reason I go broke here.

Re: 50nl 6max | AA turn decision
[ QUOTE ]
My question is what is he limp calling UTG that takes this line that I currently beat? [/ QUOTE ] 87s is possible for an unknown. I've seen 22-AA played like this. Most likely is 55-99 I guess. As9s isn't possible - Ts9s or something like that is. A lot of mid/small PPs like to raise with a small pair on the board, and a pair plus flush draw does this a lot, so I'm not sure it's right to fold here - but it's tough without a read on villain. I think you're ahead often enough to call against a random donk. We already know he's bad from the open limp UTG - so I'm not giving him too much credit for a great hand here. Some would play KK like this (there seems to be an epidemic of limping big pairs right now). The problem is that calling the turn pretty much commits you to calling almost any river (if we think we're ahead now, we're ahead on a lot of scary looking rivers), so a fold isn't bad, but against an unknown I think we're ahead enough - and I want to know what he plays like this for future reference. Board: 9d 6h 5s 6s equity (%) win (%) tie (%) Hand 1: 50.4914 % 49.14% 01.35% { KK+, 99-55, A6s, Ts9s, 87s, 76s, A6o } Hand 2: 49.5086 % 48.16% 01.35% { AcAs } |

Particularly if you plan on folding to a minraise.
