Whats up with the guy who blackmailed Ali Larter and the older bro? I think his name was Linderman. We need to find out more about this guy and how he's connected to different characters. Maybe he's the bad guy.

I think I figured out what the symbol means.

The double helix of DNA. Considering the content of the show as genetic mutations, I bet this is what it means.

do they really have to end each show with "to be continued..."?

I think we can all figure out that the story is going to continue. Patronizing bastards.

ps. I missed the show last night and just watched it on NBC.com. The pictures a little blurry on the motion scenes, but it's streaming and I think it's a really cool feature for a network to offer all of it's show online. There were about 6 30 second commercial breaks for Nissan, which were a little repetitive, but still, great idea to combat online piracy.

I just started watching the show... whos sylar? And the hospital didn't question her not being injured cause she was injured... the hospital not questioning her insanely fast recovery is a different story.

Sylar is a ubiquitous "bad guy" at this point, some sort of evil crazy murdering dude that seems to have some powers. He is somehow connected to Mohinder's father. Mohinder found what was supposedly his apartment, and there was all sorts of crazy writing on the walls and another "hero map" but when Mohinder brought back some cops with him, the place had been cleaned out.

The cops/FBI have apparently been trying to catch Sylar for a while and there was an encounter between the cop/mind reader and some other cops where Sylar seemed to have numerous super-powers.

I'm probably missing some stuff, but basically, we don't know much about him yet other than that he seems to be bad and seems to have superpowers. As you saw in the thread, there's some speculation that Claire's father might be Sylar, but that's just speculation.
