Facial Hair?

Im the same, dark brown hair and my beard is red.

Im 25 and only recently within 2-3 years have i been able to do a somewhat full beard.

16 I had a full goatee, by 17 full neckbeard and all. Now when I shave in the morning I'm terrible that night. I hate having to shave so damn often.

I was a pretty late bloomer. I think my mustache + chin hair came in at like late 15. My sideburns didn't even come in cleanly until I was about 18/19. And full beard around 20. Torso hair kept coming in until about 24/25. Never thought I'd have full growth but I'm glad I do. I sport a beard fairly regularly now. I think I'm overcompensating for the lost time in high school back when a lot of guys sported the 'burns. THere was a time when the hair directly under my chin wouldn't really come in, as well as a spot on my right jaw about the size of a quarter. It's all in now. Thank god.

This isn't uncommon. Watch the NHL Hockey playoffs come next April. When the players in the playoffs all start to grow their playoff beard...most of them are of Northern European descent, and it seems like almost all of them (blond, red, or brown hair) have a red beard.

I find this strange because I have Auburn-colored hair and my beard pretty much matches. It's not lighter red.

Exact same for me -- blonde hair as a kid, now light brown, but my beard is red/blonde.

32, just got a bad 16 year old's mustache about a year ago. I should have a full one by the time I hit 50. It's weird because I have a full grownup beard everywhere except my upper lip.
I also have the amazing technicolour dream beard. I have white, black, red, blonde, and brown hairs in there.
How did I ever get a girlfriend?
