I believe humanity is just another step in the ladder of evolution

Evolution isn't a ladder

But I agree and all.

Asking the "goal" of humans implies something else being out there. There is no primary goal or reason for human existence.

We came into play through evolution, which has made us in a way to fight for our survival.

We have evolutionary "switches" that tell us what to do. Essentially, our two goals are survival and replication.

Every feeling we have is a result of evolutions randomness which only aids us in survival and replication.

Why do we feel good when we do good things? Because humans are more likely to survive and replicate if more of them are doing good things.

Why do we do bad things? Sometimes the hunter gatherer in us needs to look out for #1 in order to survive and replicate. (Of course there are exceptions, or evolutionary mistakes, such as sociopaths that get of on killing people, but I don't think that's what you had in mind).

Sometimes higher logic in carnivores misfire. But good summation nevertheless.

Aside: The chin music? I'll pose something slightly more challenging soon. No teaser here. But the gestalt of the discussions formulated something that I want other opinions on.
