This has happened to me as well twice in the last 2 years. It usually hurts like hell and it lasts for about a week (not the headache, but the fact that you get them).

Both times I was sent to a neurologist that didn't find anything and said that it is not uncommon, especially when you are not that young anymore. I wouldn't worry to much but see a doctor if it persists.

I've had this happen before. Chiropractor had an explaination, don't know if its valid, but it makes sense.

A misalignment somewhere in your neck or back is causing you a problem, ie your headache was a tension headache or something similar. Every time you have sex, the body wide muscle contractions of the climax is twisting that misalignment further and either causing the headache if it wasn't bothering you at the time, or making it much worse if you already had one.

At any rate, getting periodic back adjustments and some regular stretching has become SOP for me and I havn't had problems with this since. So do with it what you will.

90% of headaches are caused by dehydration. I went from 12-15 migraines per year to 1-2 after beginning to chug a few more glasses full of water each day. The 1-2 I still get are usually the day after a long night of drinking (i.e. dehydrated).

Just drink more water daily & when you drink chug a glass every couple drinks or so.

It is more likely to be either very high blood pressure, or a sort of general neural over-excitement during orgasm. From what I've seen, there's not much you can do, other than lay off the coke, but it will usually go away after a week or so.
