I can't believe there isn't greater uproar when two Pro Bowlers (Merriaman and Rogers) are found guilty within one week of another.
If this happened in baseball, there would be widespread panic.

Since it isn't, and since the NFL has seemed to keep itself fairly clean, then this isn't that big of deal. Rogers tested positive for a supplement, supposedly.

Millions of dollars for doing something that won't harm anyone aside from giving you a competitive advantage over them? It's easy to take the moral high ground when we haven't been given the chance to sin.

It's easy to take the moral low ground when we're a Chargers fan [/ QUOTE ] Look, it's obvious why players do it, but that doesn't mean they're not guilty when they get caught. It's not a question of morals - it's a question of the rules of the league, and is the risk of getting caught and suspended worth the extra performance? Given the Chargers' LB situation right now, I'd probably say no.
