If a girl is willing to cheat on her current boyfriend/husband with you, what makes you think she'll be faithful? If you aren't looking for a relationship and just want sex, find someone who isn't attached.

"I have a boyfriend" is chick-speak for "I'm not interested in you" or "I don't want to appear to be so damn lame I don't even have a boyfriend!" More reliably, it's the former rather than the latter. But one way or another, whether they have one or not, women love to say they have boyfriends. They often find a way to work it into a conversation very early, even when you're talking about nothing related to such things or when it seems inappropriate. When I hear that, if I even care in the first place, I'm willing to take them at their word for all practical purposes. But a good deal of the time, I don't believe them.

Yeah, but it could be a lonely planet if you avoid women like this. Many, many women refuse to be alone and will go from one boyfriend directly to the next with as little downtime as possible, even if it means staying with a guy they don't care about for a long time.

yeah i agree.

fair game and who knows, maybe you just saved some unborn child's life from a crappy childhood spawned from a bad marriage all because some chick fell in love and married the first guy to talk her pants off at some college party during her third time ever being drunk?.

course I am also the boyfriend who enjoys/appreciates this situation for its (most of the time) interesting/awkwardness conversation that stems.

fwiw...if you are ever playing the role of random-guy hitting on girl w/ bf and get shotdown... for your sake don't press. you are only embarassing yourself - and the girl will tell all her friends that you are a creep.
