Very nice program. Could you help me figure out the second chart. The 20 buy in drop says 10.8 cum and 2.5% how did you get a 92% chance to have this buy in drop?

Looks great. Maybe we can get Cit to mention this in the FAQ. It's probably helpful to look at something like this when you're on a bad downswing.

Hi,

You will need to .NET Framework version 1.1 to run this - once you have the framework installed you can copy the file in the zip whereve you want and run it.

.NET Framework Download

Hi - there is an 8.3% cumulative on 19 buy in drop (in the example in the screen shot) so a 20+ would be 100-8.3 = 91.7%. The cumulative measures that chance to get the sown amount or less so there is a 10.8% to get 20 or less as the max drop.

Hope that is clear - having a tough time explaining that in a clear way since I am caffeine depeleted right now.

Sounds good to me.

You can actually use it to calculate lots of things besides SNG's as well. For example, want to see how you'll do betting #32 on the roulette wheel long term?

Set Buy-In to $1
1st = $36 and % to 2.63% (1/38)
all other results should be $0 and 0%
Set simulations = 10000 and Games per Sim = 1000

So we are seeing how you will do in a 1000 spin session:

Looks like a 32% chance to come out ahead.

Thanks rvg, this thing is terrific. To me, anything that gives honest insight into randomness feels practically holy. And it makes whining about bad beats feel like a form of blasphemy.

jesus I need to get laid soon.
