Who, PokerPlex? Even though they (again) never sent an e-mail regarding it, September's rakeback payment was included in my check amount.

Now I just have to figure out if I'll get any of the October rakeback I figure I'm owed from the three days I did play before they shut me out. Subtract another dollar to send that to me, and it's probably not worth it.

InterPoker...the only thing I can figure is its what my MPP's equal in dollars (doubt it though).

Now there is a chance I am wrong on what I thought I should have had, but I am fairly certain I checked the amount a day or two before I got locked out. And even though this was before my rakeback payment, my rakeback payment was less than a dollar for that month.

Hmm... well, enjoy the extra. Interpoker's payment for me was exactly what I thought it should have been, no rakeback included. They didn't pay directly normally anyway, so I'll have to check in with my affiliate on that.

In one of their e-mails it said that MPPs would be converted into cash.

Was that an e-mail from support or something? Below is the original (and only) e-mail I ever got from them on the topic, which came on October 3rd. The bold text is exactly as it was in the e-mail... not my emphasis:

Dear [jamzfive],

Due to the imminent passing of the Federal Unlawful Gambling Enforcement Act on September 30 th 2006, we are no longer accepting wagers from residents in the United States. We regret to inform you that from 11am EST on 3rd October, 2006, we will be closing all your gaming accounts.

Your balance, minus any uncleared bonuses, will be refunded to you by check within the next 3 to 4 weeks.

As the world’s oldest and most respected online casino we very much hope in the months to come that the USA will see fit to license and regulate online gaming so that we can once again offer our services to you.

We apologize for any inconvenience and express our sincere thanks for your patronage.

Yours truly,
Ryan Hartley
Manager - InterCasino

jamzfive,

I sent this e-mail about a day after they said they were shutting down U.S. access:
[ QUOTE ]
I am an American player and have read the notice about Interpoker no longer taking American customers. That is perfectly fine however I find it unacceptable I have to wait 4 weeks for a check.

1. The bill has not been signed into law yet.

2. You provided NO warning to players before doing this.

I demand either access to my account to cash out as I desire or that you cash out my full balance to my Neteller account.

Thank you,

[/ QUOTE ]

And I received this response:

[ QUOTE ]
Hello and thank you for contacting the Players Help support team.

All unused deposits, cleared winnings, uncleared winnings made using bonus money, cleared bonuses and the value of
accumulated comp points
will be automatically paid by check only. The amount to be paid will exclude the value of
bonuses received but not cleared by the time the account closure took place. You will receive your check at the
address registered in your account within 4 weeks of the account’s closure.

Unfortunately you will no longer have access to your account. I'm sure you appreciate the fact that we have hundreds
if not thousands of customers that await our services.

We apologize for any inconvenience and sincerely thank you for your patronage.

If we can be of any more assistance please do not hesitate to contact us. We are here for you 24 hours per day 365 days per year.

Does anyone here really believe that ECash will release all those funds in a one week period?

I think many that are waiting for their money are delusional in expecting it in a 3-4 week time frame. According to their statement, everyone will be paid by the end of October.

I believe some funds will be released during November and many may be waiting until December to be paid.

Is there any reason for Ecash to expedite the payments to US customers?

Well they screwed me out of over $40 on my currency exchange, then insist that that was the true currency exchange rate on that date, despite me supplying them with documents to the contrary.

I didn't even try to find the missing dollar.

[/ QUOTE ]

Me too. I looked up the conversion at the time and calculated ECash is taking an extra 10% off the top for themselves.
