Villain's almost certainly folding to a 4b, so I like call/bomb turn; this also gets the money in a lot better against an overpair (who has a lot of outs to make a better two pair if you get it in on flop) or a strong draw, like Ts9s. However, those of you freaking out on a red Q/J: I think there's a book called "There's Monsters Under My Bed!" written just for you.

Strictly from an EV perspective 4-betting the flop lets him off the hook me thinks.

we rly playing for stacks here?

Hell yeah. it's funny because alot of the time, I see you willing to get it all-in, I'm a little suspect.

However, I doubt the villain has middle or top set (only 2 ways to make those hands) and if he has bottom set than we have a decent amount of outs. He almost surely has an overpair.

i dont think that OMG i have TTP means we need to go broke for 300bbs. Not that its not right agaisnt some people but i would want to be sure. I think calling and bombing a blank turn is best, by blank im thinking non spade.

[/ QUOTE ]

come on, did you even read my post?

If you read my original post, I like calling and finding a way to get it all in by the river assuming there's a blank on the turn. but i'd be more than willing to get it on the flop, I just don't see that happening often.

There are exactly two hands that have us crushed 88 and 66. And there are only 2 ways to make those 2 hands. I think there are 4 different ways to make a set of 2s. But we have outs against them. Where as there are 12 total ways to make KK and AA.

I like my chances.

i think a lot of ppl are wk tight when they get deep. dont worry about pot control, just bet bet bet. it takes a LOT of balls to get bluffed off your hand, and its not like he has a set every time.

you also have position. call his raise, bet the turn if he checks, call if he bets. get half to 2/3 pot in on every street.

I agree. It definitely is very transparent and I obv. hate turning my cards face up. Maybe this guy is bad and will think I'm a donk doing that with KK, but usually not.

And what is bombing the turn, in #s? Like all in or $250?

I can't fold the flop here, personally. This guy has been semi-active so I don't think he's a complete nit. If he coolers me for a $1200 pot with 88,66,22 so be it, but hell yeah I'd like to go ahead and bust his AA for $1200.

I'd probably pot it.

or you could make a huge raise and promote a draw. ive been known to do this with a couple deep, but you have 3 deep and hats harder to transmit

i can safely say i wouldnt know what to do here bc i dont know where to safely extract from AA or worry about a strong draw or 22 at the same time
