Nardi is awful.

Off topic. I was eating at a Chili's near Villanova, in Bryn Mawr I believe, and Nardi was there with his girlfriend. Of course my g/f points out the two of them to me. And honestly she just wasn't that attractive. I mean, most of the girls that hang with the Nova baseketball team are GORGEOUS.[/rant]

How is Pitt so high? Is Krauser still there?

The 25 year old Krauser will not be playing for Pitt this season.

lol at Wisconsin at #7. There is absolutely no way they are that good. Marquette on the other hand is probably underrated as I would put them up against any Big East team this year.

Good to see the mid majors getting some respect.. Wonder if they'll get the same votes in the AP and Coaches poll?

There's no way OSU is that good either. Oden is injured and will continue to be that way for some time. I don't know how the backcourt will look between Butler/Cook/Lighty/Conley, it'll probably be Butler/Cook. I think Cook is the most overrated SG in his class, and his shoot first/shoot second attitude shouldn't blend well with any of Oden, Butler, or Conley. Also, there are some HUGE holes at 2 and 3.

If all of the freshmen on this team were sophs or older, or if you still had Dials, I would understand the ranking. But every poll I've seen still seems absurdly high. Trendy "OMG THEY HAVE ODEN" picks if you ask me.

Changes I'd make to the poll:
Arizona, Alabama, LSU higher. Kentucky should be ranked.

Pitt, OS, Dook, UCLA lower. Not even sure Memphis should be ranked.

Kansas is unbelievably loaded with talent (they have 1 NBA player at every single position, plus at least 1 more on the bench) but Bill Self sucks nuts at coaching. I'm rooting for another early departure.

Also, where is Syracuse? They only lost G-mac and gained arguably the #2 freshman in the nation in Paul Harris.
