I saw a clip of him once where he proved that he was +EV at blackjack.

[/ QUOTE ]

What was the proof that he was +EV atblackjack?

[/ QUOTE ]

He could stare down the dealer and know what his down card was....before the dealer looked!

this guy has cashed $1,041,783 since 2001. He has shown on HSP that he is not a dominating cash game player.

my question is.... is he a legit pro, or does he have an alternate source of income?

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't see how HSP proves anything oneway or the other. He is playing at higher stakes vs much tougher competition then he faces in his normal games. He seems to be a jerk but that doesn't mean he isn't a good player in his comfort zone.

It's not like he sucks in a scared money way. He is just a bad deep stack NLHE player. And that game doesn't exactly feature too many great NLHE cash players either.

From what I understand the games at the higher levels are always rotation games and NLHE if played at all is only 1 of 7 or even 8 other games. High Stakes NLHE looks great on TV but it isn't a game any of those guys play regularly. Also playing without a cap is changing the play as well, DN couldn't have bullied the table with his million bucks in the first season if they had been playing thier normal game.
I love the show but it is a made for TV event and that does alter things.
From what I have read Todd Brunson was the big winner in Season 3.

Big jerk. He showed it at the WSOP and Heads Up Championship.

[/ QUOTE ]

I didn't see the HU Championship, or hear much about it other than the results. What exactly did he do?

is sean shieky a jerk? the players on HSP seem to be constantly jabbing him with insults. Especially in the first season.

Not only that, unlike some of the TV pros who turn on the jerkiness for the cameras, Sean is an uber jerk 24/7.

he was an ass to doyle. he looked like he was on drugs, it was really ugly. He was extremely disrespectful. It was by far the worst display I have seen from a name player. They way he came off was more disturbing than Tony G.

A total ass to Doyle, but then again - He is Gangsta.

At least that's what he claims.

At least Tony G. is amusing.
