river is a tough decision. this smells so much like 88/99, but this could also be a KJ type of hand.

its around a nuetral EV decision, but i probably muck it and save the 50.

if it's neutral EV, then calling is better because we can see villains cards. We also don't save 50 by folding, because we lose 150 when we woulda won.

i said around, not exactly nuetral. i still believe its a fold as were behind here 70-75% of the time.

this is the exact line villain takes with a set, and i dont believe hed attempt a bluff twice when youve shown strength throughout. A KJ type of hand is the only hand here i can put him on that we have beat, and i just dont see that often enough.

edit: and when i said "save", i didnt mean mathematically. more as a figure of speech.

9-xs / 8-7 bluff. TBH I think we are behind like 80%+ of the time so I think its a fold. We need to be ahead here 75% or less for this to be a profitable call, so 70-75% is +eV.
