Re: RESULTS
I really hate threaded, I'd rather not click every single post I want to read.

Re: RESULTS
Even if he may be semi-bluffing 5th, you either have a small edge or are behind, so I don't think this is a spot where it makes sense to be very aggressive. I would just call and then lead on 6th when your edge against a semi-bluff is greater.
As for the river, I don't think there is any other way to play it. You have to value bet your trips (especially since the chances of him paying you off are greater given the dead K), and make a crying call if he raises. |

Re: RESULTS
[ QUOTE ]
Villain did make his flush on river. I actually thought even if villain made a hand that I probably wouldn't get raised, given my paired doorcard. Which then made me a little suspicious of the raise. I agree that I probably should have 3 bet 5th. BTW, do most people in this forum read flat or threaded? I realized that I generally assume threaded, which probably makes my posts hard to contextualize for you flat-earth types. For instance, the title of individual posts seems to get ignored when you read flat... [/ QUOTE ] i read threaded b/c its easier to read while in class |

Re: 30/60 high, another loose game, deadish high pair
[ QUOTE ]
You don't think opponent will ever have smaller trips or even two pair that decides to call? [/ QUOTE ] There's always some value in idiot equity. But we'll get called or raised by a better hand quite a bit more than by a worse one. |
